I’ve had a capsule wardrobe for a year and a half, and I love it. It has saved me money, time, and decision overwhelm. I call mine an edited closet, because that sounds much more “me” and less constrictive than forcing my style into a capsule. I get a little hung up on words, if you couldn’t tell.
You can learn more about my edited closet and how to get started here and here. I also have an “Edited Wardrobe” highlight on Instagram.
Editing my closet has taught me to find joy in not buying more than I need. Here are the staples that make up my winter wardrobe:
A few more favorites in my winter wardrobe:
Loft Jeans: I had heard good things about these jeans for a long time and I’m so glad I got these. So comfy and classic.
Gap High Rise Skinny Jeans: I have pancakes buns and these jeans flatter my booty and me feel like a million bucks.
White vintage v-neck: I love this tee. The v-neck is just the right depth and its lightweight, but not too see-through. I wear it under a blazer or cardigan.
Everyday Black Boots:People ask me about these babies all the time. They’re waterproof so I love them in the fall and winter, and they look cute with jeans and jumpsuits.
Blush Pink Sneakers:These are SO comfortable!
Sperry Duck Boots:Winter go-tos.
North Face Puffer Coat: There’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes. After despising the old of winter for too many years, I researched and found a coat that would keep me warm and comfortable during the Utah winters, and this is a winner. I love it!
