Several of you requested a roundup of my favorite teas, and I was more than happy to oblige. What goes better with books and hygge than a steaming cup of herbal tea?
I have loved tea since I was little, and have memories of my Dad always making himself a cup. Not only is it cozy and warming to drink, but it’s beneficial to your health and a more exciting way to get water in. It also makes me feel like British royalty, so there’s that.
Here are a few of my favorite kinds. (All caffiene-free.) Please add your favorites in the comments!
Yogi Bedtime Tea:
I drink this one about every night before bed and it helps me sleep. My kids ask for this before bed too. It has chamomile, lavender, valerian root, and other herbs that support a good night’s sleep.
Aveda Comforting Tea:
I doscovered this one at an Aveda spa many years ago and have been hooked since. Sweet, soothing, and delicious.
Tea Pigs Peppermint and Liquorice Tea:
I can’t get over how sweet and delicious this tea is without having any additives. Just herbs. The peppermint and licorice are soothing for my sometimes IBS prone belly. My kids love this one too!
Tazo Refreshmint Tea:
I go to this one when I need a bit of a pick-me-up. The mint flavor is the perfect blend. So refreshing.
Wild Orange Tea:
I’ve loved this one for a long time. It tastes good any time of day or year.
You can drink any of these teas iced too! I’d love to hear what some of your favorites are.
I’ve only tried the wild sweet orange on this list so I’m looking into the others. I also like Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice and Tazo Passion and Lemon Glazed Loaf.
