The perfect romance novels for Valentine’s Day

I love all different kinds of books, but my favorite kind are the ones that have a good love story. There’s just something so fun about getting lost in a romance novel that gives me butterflies and makes me want to go kiss my husband immediately. He doesn’t mind so much either. Here are a few of my favorite romance novels:

Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson

I read this every year and fall for the love story every time. A sweet, at times cheesy romance, but its perfect.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

A fresh romance that reminds me of what it felt like to be sweet sixteen. Don’t miss the Netflix movie!

Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë

A dark, intriguing, tragic romance. I love the setting on the moors of the English coast. This one is perfect if you want to step a little outside of the “everything is butterflies and daisies” box.

Major Pettigrew’s Last Stand by Helen Simonson

This one is set in a quaint village in the English countryside. As you can tell, setting is everything to me when it comes to books! I fell in love with Major Pettigrew on page one. I highly recommend listening to this one, because the English accent can’t be beat. I smile as I listen to this one because it’s so charming and the characters are so lovable.

Match Me If You Can by Tania Smith

My dear friend Tiana wrote this, and it’s such a fun read! Her inspirations were “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “She’s the Man,” so you’re in for a delightfully twisted romance. It’s a clean YA, but fun for adults too.

Blackmoore by Julianne Donaldson

Not a continuation of Edenbrooke, but just as satisfying.

The Selection By Kiera Cass

I call it a mix between Hunger Games and The Bachelor. I love this whole series!
